Terms & Conditions

1. Service description

Portal is an AI-powered architectural visualization platform. It turns SketchUp models, screenshots, and floorplans into photorealistic renders and iterations, organized by project, building, and viewpoint, with team collaboration features.

2. Account

You need an account to use Portal. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. One account belongs to one organization; organizations may have multiple team members with different roles.

3. Subscription & billing

Paid plans are monthly, recurring subscriptions billed automatically through our payment provider, Mollie. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period ("cancel at period end") — your plan stays fully active until then, with no partial refund for the current period.

If a recurring charge fails, we retry up to 3 times over a 3-day interval. If all retries fail, the subscription is canceled and access reverts to the free tier limits at the end of the current period.

4. Credits

Paid subscriptions grant a monthly pool of credits, consumed by generations, iterations, upscales, and extractions. You may also purchase one-time credit packs. Subscription credits are intended for use within the billing period they are granted; in practice unused packs and grants do not expire while your account remains active — see the current pricing page for the specific terms in effect.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Portal to generate or upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, to attempt to circumvent credit metering or access controls, or to interfere with the service's availability or security.

6. Intellectual property

You own the images, floorplans, and other materials you upload to Portal, and you own the renders and outputs Portal generates for you. We claim no ownership over your uploads or your generated outputs.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to these terms or the service is capped at the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute not resolved amicably falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.

9. Seller identity

10. Community contributions

When you share an item, moodboard or character with the Portal community, you keep ownership. You give Portal and every Portal user a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, permanent licence to use it in their generations and to make their own versions of it. You can withdraw it at any time: it then disappears from the community, but copies and renders that users made before stay. You confirm that the content is your own work, that it contains no confidential client material, and that it shows no recognisable person without their consent. Portal shows contributions without your name.

3D models. When you share a 3D model with the Portal community, you give Portal a permanent, worldwide, free licence to store, show, change and offer that model to other Portal users. Other users can place it in their own projects and make images with it. You confirm that you have the rights to the image the model was made from. Portal never shows your name with the model. You can withdraw a shared model: Portal then hides it, but copies that other users already placed stay in their projects. Portal can pause or change community rewards at any time.

11. Showcase

When you share an image to the Portal showcase, you keep ownership of it. You give Portal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show that image:

  1. to signed-in Portal users, in the showcase and on your author page;
  2. on the public Portal website (for example the home page and the showcase page), but only when you turned on "Also allow it on the public Portal website" for that image.

Other users may look at your image. They get no right to download it, copy it, or use it in their own generations.

You can withdraw an image at any time from "My showcase". Portal then removes it from the showcase and from the public website within 5 minutes. The licence for that image ends when you withdraw it. Portal cannot remove copies that a visitor made before (for example a screenshot). You can also turn off "Public website" for an image in "My showcase": it then leaves the public website within 5 minutes and stays in the showcase for signed-in users.

Portal shows your name, company and website with the image only when you chose "Show as: my profile" for it. Otherwise the image shows as "Portal user".

Portal does not use your showcase images to train AI models, unless you agree to it separately.

Portal checks each image before it goes live and can decline it or take it down at any time. You confirm that the image is your own work, that it contains no confidential client material, and that it shows no recognisable person without their consent. If you think an image in the showcase breaks your rights, write to us and we take it down while we check.
